Our Long Island client is seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to join their team and drive sales of their flooring and countertop products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in channel distribution sales and a passion for building relationships with customers.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in assigned territories.Consult with dealers on pricing, advertising, and promotions.Prepare sales contracts and estimate delivery dates.Analyze sales data and identify opportunities.Resolve customer claims and problems.Travel to meet with customers.Requirements:2+ years of experience in channel distribution sales.2+ years of experience in the flooring industry (huge plus)Excellent sales and negotiation skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Valid driver's license.Bilingual (Spanish is a plus)Location:5 days onsite in Islip, Long IslandDaily travel across territoryCompensation:$60,000 - $65,000 base salaryOTE $150kHighly competitive benefits package
