As part of our expansion, we are seeking an experienced Head of People and Culture to join our team and help lead our human resources department.Note: this is on-site position.Job Description:The Head of People and Culture will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources functions within the organization. This includes but is not limited to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and HR compliance.Responsibilities:Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategyManage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidatesOversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hiresProvide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolutionAdminister employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perksEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsConduct regular audits of HR policies and procedures to maintain accuracy and effectivenessDevelop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledgeHandle employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner, promoting a positive work environmentSourcing Candidates, Coordinating Interviews, Evaluating Candidates, Offer Management, Onboarding, Relationship ManagementStay current on industry trends and best practices in HR managementQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferredPHR or SPHR certification is a plus8+ years of experience in human resources management, with a focus on employee relations, development, training and HR complianceStrong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organizationDemonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to lead and motivate a teamProven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that drive business resultsAbility to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalismProficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office SuiteWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
