From research into textiles and attention to detail, ETRO creates luxury clothing and accessories for men and women, where passion for travel and sartorial tradition are the key concepts of every collection.Position Overview:The Department Manager is a Brand Ambassador to ETRO while upholding all qualitative and quantitative objectives. The Department Manager is responsible for motivating the team in achieving sales results, ensuring an excellent client experience, being present on the sales floor, and leading by example with personal sales, client engagement and results. Support the Store Manager with the management of the Department assigned.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesAchieve individual sales goals and objectives set by the Store Manager·Lead by example, role model the client journey and uphold the client experience at all times Manage the customer flow to ensure the best possible service and that no client is left unattended.Drive partnership on the selling floor between sales associates, stock associates and operations teamPartner with the SM to host training initiatives within the store.Use morning huddles and weekly meetings to constantly reinforce key elements of the ETRO Experience through role-play, providing tips and discussing opportunities of individual associates.Partner with the Store Manager to drive overall goal expectations throughout store·Resolve client issues as they arise· Hold a good understanding of the business and effectively communicate needs and ideas to bring the business to next level·Possess a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures and consistently follow and enforce company guidelines on operations·Assist with the opening and closing of store which includes securing doors, windows and merchandise, successful alarming of store and POS procedures·Oversee the full organization of company assets per back of house and front of house guidelines Work on additional projects as directed by management.Qualifications:Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience4+ years' experience in the luxury sector and knowledge of industry-specific dynamicsBuilds effective partnershipsStrong communicationPlanningbusiness acumenLeads well through change and ambiguity.Superior attention to detail and organizationAbility to influence at all levels.Qualityexcellence mindedAbility to develop oneself.Flexible to changing business needs and reactive to those needs in a professional positive manner.
