Key Responsibilities As part of the management team, collaborate cross-functionally to drive strategic direction and evolve Ripple Street's product offerings and solutionsWork closely with go-to-market leadership to construct discipline and calculated innovation within the Sales organizationStay current with industry trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies, identify opportunities for growth, stay ahead of the competition and strategically position our solutionsDeliver marketersagency partners a remarkable Sales experience that mimics our company's values and drives insightsinspires business partnership Encourage open communication and create opportunities for cross-functional collaboration, knowledge sharing (e.g., industry trends, market feedback, etc.), and teamwork to foster a sense of unity and shared purposeServe as an inspirational evangelist for the company's solutions, showing a contagious passion for the value Ripple Street deliversBecome a nimble storyteller who can pivot messagingpositioning based on the audiencepersonaNetwork and drive new business opportunities at industrytrade shows as neededEstablish and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, top-line C- executives, clients, and partners to drive business growthIdentify and execute sales strategies that result in exceeding revenue targetsLead, manage, mentor, and foster a high-performance Sales team. Structure and scale the organization so that accounts align with the AEs best positioned to provide the most relevant categoryregionaletc. expertiseLeverage proven sales methodologies to train AEs on how to advance complex, solutions-based salesPartner closely with AEs to help grow and maximize key strategic accounts; engaging cross-department stakeholders (e.g., Account Management, Marketing, Product) as appropriate to identify, nurture, and advance opportunitiesDrive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Regularly partner with the CEO, Revenue Operations, and Marketing to assess and monitor performance with analytical rigor; leverage data-driven insights to develop, test, and iterate initiativesSupport team members to ensure they have the resources and tools needed to excel in their rolesProvide constructive feedback and recognition for achievements Key QualificationsProven work experience as a VP of Sales or similar roleUnderstanding of market trends and adaptability to follow those trends; strong knowledge of the marketCPG brands a plus In-depth knowledge of selling strategiesmethods, as well as employee motivation techniquesExcellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Proven experience with developing processes (sales playbooks, KPIs, etc.), and executing on sales strategies About Ripple StreetRipple Street is a consumer product discovery platform that connects brands with their next best fans.
