Paid Holidays & Paid Time Off 1st year - 5 vacation days, 6 sick days, 2 personal days 2nd-4th year - 10 vacation days, 6 sick days and 2 personal days 5th - 10th year - 15 vacation days, 6 sick and 2 personal days 10+ years - 20 vacation, 6 sick and 2 personal days 6 Paid Holidays per year - Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day OPEN POSITION Customer Service/Operations Position Working with-in our operations department, you will oversee and coordinate various aspects of logistics operations that will ultimately support the movement of our customer's freight in the most efficient and effective manner possible. Responsibilities may include but not limited to: Accepting, entering and scheduling shipments from our customers into Knichel's transportation management systems. Coordinating with carriers while monitoring the movement of goods from origin to destination, while resolving any issues that may arise to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Able and willing to support various shipment modes that Knichel offers to include Less-than-Truckload (LTL), Truckload Brokerage, and Intermodal. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelors' degree in business, logistics, supply chain, related fields or equivalent experience preferred. 1-3 years of experience in customer service/hospitality type roles. Previous experience in transportation and logistics may be beneficial. Attention to detail and confident decision-making skills Effective written and verbal communication and customer service skills Driven, enthusiastic, high energy, resilient, agile and highly motivated Ability to work and succeed both independently and with-in a team environment
