Oracle EPM Product Engineer

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Oracle EPM Product Engineer for a contract assignment with one of our premier Insurance services clients in New York, NY . Responsibilities : Design, configure and support all Oracle EPM modules including Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close, Profitability and Cost Management, Enterprise Data Management, Narrative Reporting, free form cubes and other related modules. Provide best practices in utilization of modules. Participate in EPM strategy and roadmap planning of new features and capabilities. Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements from business partners. Lead data integration, data mapping, and data validation activities between EPM Cloud applications, Oracle ERP, FDI and external systems. ssist in developing and delivering training sessions. Participate and drive troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Co-ordinate and conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including finance and technology senior leadership, business analysts, developers, and project managers. Stay up to date with the latest Oracle EPM Cloud product updates and industry trends to provide best-in-class solutions to clients. Present high-level and low-level design options to relevant partners. Report potential risks and dependencies to the project lead architect and delivery managers. Participate and lead architectural discussions. Partner with Oracle product management and engineering departments to align project implementation design and architecture for compatibility with future versions and to minimize potential upgrade effort. Required Skills : bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field. 5+ years of professional experience in Oracle EPM Cloud Applications. Solid understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes and financial reporting. Expertise across all Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close, Profitability and Cost Management (PCMCS and/or EPCM), Accounts Reconciliation, Narrative Reporting, FreeForm cubes, Enterprise Data Management. Background with Oracle ERP, OCI including Integration Cloud (OIC) and FAW/FDI a plus. t least one full lifecycle implementation experience of EPM implementations Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The ability to work independently and cross-functionally with Business users and internal teams. Preferred Skills : dditional background in Finance or Accounting is a plus. Background with Oracle ERP, OCI including Integration Cloud (OIC) and FAW/FDI a plus. Oracle Cloud certifications, such as Oracle Certified Implementation Specialist or Oracle Certified Cloud Implementation Specialist, are a major plus.
