Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our PACU and Ambulatory Care units. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and those in need of outpatient services, ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to handle complex patient needs, and a commitment to patient education and support. Duties Monitor and assess the condition of patients in the PACU and Ambulatory Care. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans. Administer medications, perform interventions, and manage post-operative complications as necessary. Educate patients and their families about recovery processes and follow-up care. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Meditech. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and patient safety standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and workflow efficiency. Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in a PACU or similar acute care setting. Inpatient care experience is required. Requirements Active VT State RN license. BLS and ACLS certifications required.
