This role is open in a number of cities nationwide including Arlington VA, Virginia Beach VA, Columbia MD, Gaithersberg MD, Wilmington DE, and almost every other US state. Please ask your recruiter for more details. As MEP Design Engineer, you will lead green energy initiatives in the design for the HVAC and air systems for data centers. You will handle CFD (computational fluid dynamics) modeling and ensure proper airflow and cooling for the facility. The MEP Engineer will assist in supporting other facility sections including plumbing, storage, pumps and air compressors. You should have a good understanding of green energy initiatives, HVAC and electrical codes and water and air-cooled chiller plant design. Candidates should have a mechanical engineering degree or similar with 5 years experience in designing HVAC systems for data centers. A PE (professional engineer license) is highly prefered. No relocation assistance or per diem at this time.
