F&M Trust is looking to hire a Part-time Loan Servicing Record Retention Specialist that will work approximately 25 hours per week. SUMMARY OF POSITION: Performs various duties relating to the processing of new, existing, and paid loans; maintains loan documents in accordance with an established retention schedule(s); provides customers, loan officers, and other bank personnel with support and assistance relating to loan applications; and mails various statements and notices. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Performs various duties relating to the processing of new, existing, and paid loans: Maintains physical loan files for appropriate storage. Processes electronic scanning of all new loan files, trailing documents, maintenance packets, and ongoing documents during life of loan processing. Ensure electronic storage is accurate, and completed in a timely manner May process loan payments and funds transfers. Manually posts any exceptional or irregular payments including extensions as required. Manages daily interoffice mail delivery and processes periodic billing notices, etc. via the folder/insertion equipment located in the mailroom. Processes other loan notices and prepares for delivery to USPS for mailing. Utilize loan servicing manual and provide updates as needed Provides customers, loan officers, and other bank personnel with support and assistance relating to loan applications: Resolve customer, loan officer, and other bank personnel inquiries promptly and efficiently with minimal assistance or direction from supervisor. Provide educational information to community offices, commercial services staff, and mortgage originators relative to record retention, etc. as approporiate. REQUIRED EDUCATION: A high school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in a business or accounting curriculum preferred. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Entry-level position: previous Loan Operations experience is preferred but not required. However, previous experience with personal computers and office equipment is required. REQUIRED SKILLS: Must possess strong oral communication skills (including excellent telephone etiquette); good math skills with high degree of accuracy; and, strong analytical skills. Must have the ability to deal tactfully and efficiently with the public and other employees. Must be able to organize work and determine priorities. Must demonstrate proficiency in operating office equipment including personal computer, calculator and fax machine. Proficiency or sufficient knowledge of word-processing and spreadsheet software required. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to: Maintain regular and predictable attendance in accordance with the assigned schedule for the essential function of the job; Lift items (files) weighing a maximum of fifty pounds; Move freely from one office location to another in order to perform clerical duties (i.e., mail); Use fine motor movements when entering data on the computer keyboard and using the calculator; Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word when providing customer service and/or responding to inquiries; Receive detailed information through oral or written communication; See clearly to process loan transactions; Stretch and bend when performing clerical duties; and, write legibly.
