Accounting Specialist

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about numbers? We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic team! We are looking for a skilled Accounting Specialist to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks. The Accounting Specialist responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, Data entry, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements. You will run accounting software programs to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts. A successful accounting specialist should be familiar with all accounting procedures and have a flair for numbers. Ultimately, a successful Accounting Specialist will ensure that the company's daily accounting functions run accurately, effectively and in timely. If you have an accounting background, a "can do attitude" and enjoy a small team environment, this is the position for you. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. Assist with monthly and annual financial closings. Reconcile accounts in a timely manner. Daily entering of key data of financial transactions in database. Assist in the cost accounting function. Participate in the annual audits. Skills: Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts receivable clerk or Accounts payable clerk. Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures. Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software. Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports. Accuracy and attention to detail. Aptitude for numbers. Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks. Data entry skills. Well organized. Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
