This position will be primarily focused on supporting a client in their Horsham, PA office (onsite 2x/week) and empowering them to generate RWE by fully leveraging HealthVerity-licensed data and identifying potential for licensing new data. How you will help As an Analytics Consultant, Real World Data (RWD) Insights you will provide exceptional healthcare data analytics expertise to clients supporting their use and acquisition of HealthVerity data. This role will primarily support a large pharmaceutical enterprise-level client. You will engage with client data users to grow their use and knowledge of HealthVerity data, leveraging your RWD expertise to provide actionable guidance and training across verticals including Commercial, HEOR/RWE, and R&D, with a particular focus on Commercial analytics use cases. You will also identify potential new opportunities for the client to enhance their research by leveraging additional data from HealthVerity. What you will do Empower client utilizing best-in-class observational research by providing on-site analytic support Provide hands-on analytic guidance for Commercial (e.g. Triggers, Market Access, Patient Services, Marketing, Sales, etc.), HEOR/RWE (e.g. patient outcome studies, FDA safety studies, etc.) and R&D (e.g. clinical trial recruitment, etc.) use cases Develop and lead quarterly trainings and host weekly office hours for the client Efficiently query multiple clinical data types using SQL to identify populations of interest in HVM data and assess using univariate analysis and data investigations Develop and communicate technical, clinical, operational, and business specifications to internal and external teams Work cross-functionally with sales and data delivery teams to support operational processes to deliver data licensing projects on time and with accuracy How success will be defined Creatively and strategically position HealthVerity to continue to win against the competition by building trust and credibility as a subject matter expert (SME) Clients' engagement with and renewal of contracted support Take ownership of pre- and post-sale projects and drive to completion Ensure minimal errors in presales feasibility and data requirements for delivery Required skills and experience Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Clinical Informatics, or related quantitative field Team player who takes initiative and works collaboratively with colleagues across all levels of the organization At least 3 years' experience in a consultative, client-facing role Understanding of commercial data landscape and knowledge of analytics approaches in pharma including descriptive and predictive analytics At least 3 years' experience using SQL, programming against large relational databases leveraging interoperably-linked, patient-level data at scale At least 3 years' experience using transactional claims data and codified healthcare data standards (e.g. ICD, CPT, HCPCS, CVX, LOINC, NUCC, NPPES, etc.) Experience evaluating fit-for-purpose data and implementing research protocols for specific healthcare and life sciences-related research questions and use cases, such as Commercial, HEOR/RWE, R&D Experience presenting to business-focused and/or technical-focused audiences, particularly for the purpose of training Ability to be onsite 2x/week at client in the NJ/Philadelphia area Desired skills and experience Healthcare data expert across various data types (e.g. open/closed claims, inpatient/ambulatory EMR, commercial labs, social determinants, etc.) Exposure to a wide range of healthcare industry business segments (pharma, biotech, government, consulting, healthcare payer/provider) Evangelist and champion of RWD/RWE Skilled at educating, presenting, and demonstrating analytical concepts to internal and ex ernal audiences Strong communicator (both verbally and in writing) with the ability to translate client needs into actionable data insights Experience supporting business development activities Experience owning and managing projects with the ability to identify and mitigate risk to intended outcomes Highly organized, consultative, and proactive critical thinker/problem solver Committed to personal and professional continuous development Exceptional attention to detail Experience coding in Python Thrives in a rapidly-changing, fast paced environment Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $80,000 - 190,000 annual bonus opportunity.
