The ideal candidate will be a seasoned attorney with a strong background in real estate, trusts and estates, international tax, and tax treaties. The candidate will play a crucial role in providing expert legal advice to our diverse clients, navigating complex cross-border issues, and driving the growth of our firm. Responsibilities: Provide expert legal advice on matters related to trusts and estates, international tax, and tax treaties. Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, promissory notes, operating agreements, and corporate resolutions. Conduct thorough research and prepare detailed client memorandums. Review tax return filings to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Meet with prospective clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions. Pitch to new clients and contribute to the growth of the firm. Navigate complex cross-border issues and advise clients on matters related to inheritance and gifts. Maintain an active Bar in NY and stay updated with the latest legal developments. Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to provide comprehensive legal services to our clients. Qualifications: Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school. LLM in Taxation. Active Bar in NY. A minimum of 5 years of Real Estate Attorney experience. Experienced in cross border issues. Proven experience with cross-border issues, inheritance, and gifts. Comprehensive knowledge of international tax and tax treaties. Excellent drafting and document review skills. Ability to prepare detailed client memorandums and review tax return filings. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to meet with prospective clients and pitch to new clients. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
