Senior Substation Engineer

Metric GEO is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to lead substation design engineering projects and work on cutting-edge energy solutions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years of related work experience, and a Professional Engineering (PE) License. Lead substation design engineering projects for distribution, sub-transmission, and transmission voltage classes Create electrical design outputs, such as protective relays for protection and control design, and/or physical design elements Manage project scheduling, meetings, and resource planning Engage directly with clients, vendors, and subcontractors Ensure quality assurance and quality control for projects and provide mentorship to junior engineers Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 7 or more years of related work experience Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Micro Station software Substation Design experience - Physical and/or Protection & Controls Professional Engineering (PE) License Competitive salaries and great benefits including PTO, flexible working schedule, performance based bonuses, and health, life, dental, and vision insurance If you are passionate about contributing to meaningful projects in the power infrastructure sector, apply now to join this dynamic team.
