Job Description: Pentair has a job opportunity for you! Join us as a Material Handler/Water Spider in our Dover, NH facility. You will be delivering supplies and materials to workstations along with maintaining accurate records of material movements. What's in it for you? The anticipated hourly pay for this role is: $18.50/hr. 11 paid holidays each year 2 weeks of paid vacation to start (accrued weekly), and prorated based on hire date Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Up to 5% 401K match starting day one of employment Tuition reimbursement to support your education goals More details about the opportunity: Ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies to various workstations and monitor inventory levels and replenish as needed Coordinate with production teams to understand material requirements and maintain accurate records of material movements Identify and resolve any material flow issues Removing trash from cell areas, load and operate the trash compactor, and remove excess packaging after replenishment. Must have experience operating PIT equipment, i.e. forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, etc. Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem solving abilities, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication and teamwork skills Support and advocate for lean principles, including Kanban and material flow ideologies Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!): 1st shift: 6:30am to 2:30pm There could be an option for 4 10's also or alternating shifts of 5 8's and 4 10's. This can be discussed during an onsite interview. Physical Requirements: Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs. Steel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.
