What you will be doing as an IT Support Technician: The IT Support Technician is a staff position within the Technology Support Team accountable for ensuring continuity of computer systems and networks for all RLS facilities and team members. What you need to land this awesome job: Education: Associates degree OR Accredited IT Certifications Experience: Microsoft Office 365 experience preferred. Microsoft Azure experience preferred. Advanced networking knowledge preferred. License or Certification: Welcomed but not mandatory. Travel requirements: Occasional, as needed. Minimum Physical requirements: Should be able to lift 50lbs & be able to navigate ladders easily. Minimum Behavior requirements: You must Be Humble, Stay Hungry and Live Smart. A day in the life (but not limited to): Assist team members with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of hardware & software. Verify functionality of hardware & software components daily. Troubleshoot hardware & software issues in person, remotely, and via phone. Participate in an on-call rotation to be accessible for high priority technical support during off hours. Monitor network usage and security. Set up team member accounts and passwords. Develop a basic understanding of company operations. Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue, and document the path to resolution. Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems. Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes within the IT department. Keep up with technology advancements.
