Quality Control Chemist Category: Life Science Employment Type: Direct Hire Reference: BH- Yoh is hiring an Quality Control Chemist to join our client in St. Louis, MO This position prioritizes daily sample testing and perform a variety of laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process and finished batches. Review compounding and laboratory records for accuracy and completeness. Investigate customer complaints, OOS/OOT results and implement any corrective action as determined by QC supervision Title: Quality Control Chemist Schedule: Monday-Friday Location: St. Louis, MO Salary: $22/hr. Responsibilities: Perform sample testing on incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products per established procedures Prepare samples for analysis Maintain a clean and orderly working station Document findings and share with internal end-users Have a full understanding of GMP regulations and ensure that all documentation meets standards Understand QC and Manufacturing procedures Run routine GC and HPLC analysis Assist with OOS/OOT and investigations Assist with IQ/OQ/PQ and instrument validation/calibration tasks Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related Scientific field Previous experience in a Quality Control environment Knowledge and Understanding of Chemistry Experience with the following equipment: glassware, pH meter, viscometer, balance, TOC, Densitometer, HPLC, GC, FT-IR #IND-SPG Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
