California Licensed Civil Engineer 5 yrs (PE)

Civil Engineer Licensed in California with California code experience. A good attitude and desire to excel is mandatory. We need a dependable, self-starting, hardworking individual who is detail oriented and has the determination and ability to work with a team. Our work is fast paced with short deadlines. You must be able to perform your tasks accurately and quickly. Help mentor junior staff. Candidate must demonstrate the following: Advanced skill with AutoCAD v.2018 or higher 4 years minimum experience in AutoCAD and advanced engineering in an office environment The ability to engineer / design quickly and accurately. Our projects are mainly site work of schools both private and public sectors. Drafting details will include redlines, as-builts, plan and profiles, base sheet, and grading utility layout (water, sewer, storm drain). We are continuously looking into new civil engineering / design methods and materials to improve maintenance and operation and reduce initial costs of site development work. We also keep up with current legislation and ordinances, which may impact design considerations and funding mechanisms.
