POSITION OVERVIEW As a Critical Care Nurse , you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care by utilizing advanced nursing skills and evidence-based practices. In this position, you'll provide comprehensive, hands-on nursing care while actively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best patient outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive patient care in alignment with core standards, policies, and evidence-based practices. Manage patient assessments, care planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge planning. Collaborate to reduce patient wait times and length of stay, working closely with case management. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information. Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and inventory shortages to the Supervisor. Advocate for patients and families, ensuring their needs are met. Identify and address opportunities for improving patient care and outcomes. Promote a culture of safety and follow infection prevention policies. Contribute to cost-saving efforts through efficient use of resources and staff. Participate in quality improvement activities and patient satisfaction initiatives. Mentor and train new staff, fostering a positive learning environment. Apply transcultural nursing principles and participate in patient education. Comply with hospital policies and engage in ongoing professional development. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's or Associate's Degree/Diploma in is required. Experience: Two years of nursing experience with Bachelor's or four years with Associate Degree/Diploma is required. ICU or Emergency Room experience preferred. Licensing: Valid license from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Basic Life Support Advanced Cardiac Life Support Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as applicable Specialization: ICU or Emergency Room experience preferred. Skills: Advanced Clinical Skills Proven Leadership Skills Knowledge of Quality of Care Standards Languages: Must be proficient in English. Arabic language proficiency is also a plus. Location : Saudi Arabia; candidates must be willing to relocate.
