Join our Team and become an expert in the field of fully automated warehouse logistics systems Apply to become an integral part of our dynamic team in Tipp City: System Support Technician Your role our team A System Support Technician must be a motivated, self-starting individual who is willing to prove they have what it takes to succeed with our Maintenance Team. You will be working to support the operation and maintenance of our automated material handling system. This position will provide an opportunity for the right candidates to learn many different systems and technologies in a high tech, creative environment. WITRON offers premium shift differential pay for qualifying evening, night, or weekend shifts on top of the base pay and performance-based bonus opportunities that reward your hard work and dedication. Primary Responsibilities Operation and fault correction of automated material handling equipment in a fast production environment Troubleshoot and correct system material flow issues Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, and computer systems issues and escalate as appropriate Basic upkeep of system through effective management and clearing of products, packaging, and carrier material Participate in a broad array of electrical and mechanical tasks under supervision Assist in the installation of new or refurbishment of existing system components Ideal candidate profile Education & Experience Previous experience with material handling automation in an automated warehouse is a plus Electrical-mechanical installation work experience in an industrial environment with production or manufacturing machinery a plus Skills & Knowledge Mechanical skills Ability to work in a team environment Aptitude for basic computer skills Practical attitude and ability to learn new skills Continuous improvement mindset Problem solving and root-cause understanding Steady, professional approach in a high-pressure environment Basic mechanical aptitude Clear spoken communications skills Knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring a plus Scheduling & Travel Flexibility to work shifts 1st and 2nd shift - operate 7 days a week Physical Requirements Work at heights of up to 80-100 feet Continuous walking, climbing and standing Lifting, pulling and pushing up to 50 lbs.
