Job Title: Construction Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic development team. The Project Manager will work closely with our in-house design team to ensure the successful completion of projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing commercial construction projects and a strong understanding of construction documentation, scheduling, and financial oversight. Responsibilities Direct and coordinate the activities of the project team to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within budget. Examine construction documentation, including drawings and schedules, to understand the full scope of the project. Manage project reporting and documentation processes. Oversee financial responsibilities of the project, including cost forecasting, and control of subcontractors, materials, and vendors. Ensure the timely execution and management of the owner and subcontractor change order processes. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, potential clients, subcontractors, and vendors to foster new opportunities. Plan, schedule, and administer project meetings with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel. Manage the construction submittal and approval processes. Essential Skills Experience in construction management, particularly in commercial construction. Proficiency in managing change orders and schedules. Ability to work within budget constraints and manage subcontractors effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of Procore and USCAD. A developer project experience could be a plus. Experience working on ground-up projects valued at $8M or more in the commercial space. Experience with large Amazon distribution centers. Work Environment This position is based in Buffalo, NY (Williamsville) and requires working both onsite and in the office. The work environment is collaborative, involving close interaction with the in-house design team and other stakeholders. The role requires a professional demeanor and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
