Position Summary SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Cloud Architect to support our DoD IAC Operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Develop Cloud automation and integration solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps processes to assist in streamlining deployments. Maintain and improve existing Cloud resources and associated architecture. Manage and enhance existing CI/CD pipelines. Author and monitor architectural design, and design approval processes/standards. Plan and improve the DevSecOps solutions to maintain and accommodate the changing needs of developers Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure Research and find new ways to automate and improve development and release processes Mitigate risk against cybersecurity threats Perform root cause analysis to identify technical problems to resolve quickly Actively engage software engineers and developers on the team to identify issues and areas for improvement Works collaboratively with other IAC team members, IT team members, and the product team as part of an Agile Development process Minimum Qualifications of Cloud Architect Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and 5+ years of relevant experience. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply. Azure (App Services, Database Admin, VNets) (significant AWS experience may be substituted) Docker CI/CD Pipeline Tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.) Code Scanning Tools (Sonarqube, Fortify) Authentication Protocols (OIDC or SAML) Preferably with additional experience listed below: Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Bicep, Arm templates) Kubernetes Security+ certification Experience with Cloud Service Provider Architecture deployment use cases and best practices. Experience in deploying and managing cloud resources on either AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Experience in building DevOps pipelines Experience in Cloud Native Technologies (e.g., Serverless / Docker / Kubernetes) Comfortable using one of the following scripting/programming languages: Python, Go, JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash Experience working within an Agile environment Strong verbal, written communication, and listening skills; strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Excellent collaboration and team-building skills. Highly motivated, entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for driving solution adoption. Ability to manage multiple on-going projects. Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance required. Proven work experience as an IT professional.
