Field Service Engineer

Position Summary The employee will primarily support the Midwest region of the US with travel to other locations as needed. Will provide on-site Professional Services and support to clients using healthcare products. Responsible for supporting services to deploy a RTLS system in the Acute Care Market. Requires understanding of network connectivity and software configuration troubleshooting. Essential Job Functions Represent the company during onsite working hours in a hospital environment. Install, configure, and commission new systems following company procedures. Perform service work at customer sites including troubleshooting, repair, or replacement of customer equipment. Complete facility site surveys and provide training to facility personnel. Attend construction meetings and work flexible hours according to customer requirements. Must have strong customer service skills and time management skills. Must work well independently and perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 1+ years of experience in Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, or Networking. Valid Driver's License with no restrictions. Physical Required to lift up to 50 lbs and climb and stand on ladders. Must work with tools and stand for 8+ hours at a time. Travel Must have the ability to travel extensively, overnight, on a regular basis (80% travel). This position entails delivering on-site services at customer facilities, particularly in hospitals. Selected candidate may need to engage in vendor credentialing systems specified by the customer. Additional documentation and compliance with vendor credentialing requirements are mandatory.
