Compliance Specialist Drug Safety Middlesex County, NJ, US + Added - 28/10/2024 Apply for Job Oversee daily management of controlled substances on-site, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and company procedures. **Duties:** + Conduct internal compliance audits and review manufacturing and analytical processes for ongoing improvement. + Perform due diligence on Order Analysis Systems and maintain inspection documentation. + Oversee inventory control for materials and ensure inspection readiness. + Support GMP and compliance standards, report issues, and help train staff on responsibilities. + Handle receipt, storage, distribution, and shipping of controlled substances with meticulous record-keeping. + Maintain site registrations for R&D and Analytical departments; assist with audits and inspections. + Update and manage lists of authorized personnel and process forms. + Coordinate substance destruction, track physical inventories, and complete required reporting. **Qualifications:** + Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology, or related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. + Minimum 4 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with 2+ years focused on Compliance or a related field.
