Our data analytics and business intelligence team consist of 4 skilled professionals who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Our North Star is delivering actionable insights and impactful solutions that drive success for the banking division and other business units, including sales, finance, and marketing. The intern will work on real-world projects involving data analysis, visualization using Tableau and Excel, and exploring advanced technologies like AI and machine learning. This experience will provide a well-rounded opportunity to apply technical skills while building strong professional relationships within a supportive team. Program Details Duration: June 2 - August 8, 2025 Location: Monett, Springfield, Dallas, Lenexa, Remote Pay: $25.00/hour What you'll be responsible for: Analyzing and interpreting data to support key business decisions across banking, sales, finance, and marketing. Developing and maintaining data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau and Excel. Applying Python, SQL, and data analytics skills to solve real-world business problems and improve processes. Collaborating with team members and internal stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and high-quality results. Exploring and contributing to projects involving advanced technologies such as AI, machine learning, and natural language processing. What you'll need to have: Enrolled at an accredited university. Pursuing a degree in one of the following: Data Analytics Business Intelligence Computer Science Data Science Statistics Mathematics Finance or Economics (with strong analytical focus) Understanding of data analysis tools like Tableau, Excel, and other business intelligence platforms. Ability to work 40 hours per week throughout the duration of the internship program (June 2- August 8, 2025). Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without the need for sponsorship from Jack Henry. What would be nice for you to have: Experience or knowledge in: Data analysis tools like Tableau, Excel, and BI platforms. Programming languages such as Python and SQL. Data visualization and dashboard development best practices. AI, machine learning, or natural language processing. The data analytics cycle (data collection, cleaning, analysis, reporting). Basic understanding of: ETL processes and data analytics methodologies. Statistical analysis and predictive modeling. Machine learning algorithms and database management. Skills & Attributes: Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. Excellent communication for sharing data insights with non-technical audiences. Adaptability and eagerness to learn new tools. Ability to work independently and in teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Interest or experience in the financial industry is a plus.
