SEM Optimization Specialist Fundamental Media is looking for the perfect person to join our dynamic and enthusiastic Boston office, joining a Search Engine Marketing team delivering standout performance, insights and analytics to a range of clients in the Finance and Higher and Business Education industries. The Role The SEM Optimization Specialist's advanced skills in task management, analytics and optimizing make them a valuable contributor to account performance and the success of the SEM team. As an Optimization Specialist you will help execute high-level account campaign strategies into optimizations which directly affect campaign performance and team success. You will regularly analyze and interpret data, discover and address opportunities, collaborate on campaign strategy with clients and the SEM team, formulate and test hypothesis as well as give critical insights on campaign activity and performance. At least 1 year experience working in a similar role as a Search Account Specialist or Marketing Analyst on biddable media campaigns is required. A SEM Optimization Specialist consistently displays a positive attitude and level of team service which not only drives themselves, but everyone in their sphere to succeed. This includes taking initiative in not only their own personal and career development but encouraging their team's as well. Proficiency in working with all Google & Bing Ads products, Google Analytics 4, as well as working knowledge of Excel & Google Sheets as it relates to SEM is preferred. Candidates with experience working on biddable media campaigns will be considered. Previous SEO and Content Marketing experience is a plus. Core Responsibilities: Interprets all analytical data as requested by senior team. Serves as a boots on the ground contributor to the management team giving important insights assisting in developing strategy, reports and projections. Assists in the training process for new hires and helps to support their development at FM. First point of contact for any account assistance requested by specialists. Participates in regular check in meetings with SEM manager(s) to review internal monthly and quarterly account data insights reporting. Assists in execution of any projects or tasks outside of those required of their normal account responsibilities. Helps plan and organize SEM team building, lunches, and after-hours activities (if in working out of the Boston office). As an ideal candidate you will have: 1-3 years of experience working in a similar SEM, Biddable Media or Marketing Analyst role. An interest and passion in analysing your campaigns and pushing for the best outcome. Meticulous attention to detail. Awareness of media trends and avid interest in business and finance. Eagerness to work alongside a range of people and as an integral part of a team. Demonstrable ability to make sensible, intelligent decisions in difficult and deadline driven situations. A passionate approach to tasks with a can-do attitude - committed to upholding professional standards while being flexible and self-motivated.
