SAP Security Project Manager

ITC Infotech is looking for an SAP Security Project Manager to join the US TeamLocation - Chicago, IL- Hybrid - 2-3 days week they need to go officeJob Overview:The SAP Security Project Manager will be responsible for managing SAP security projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure SAP systems across the enterprise. This role involves overseeing the implementation of SAP security solutions, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholders, and ensuring that SAP environments are compliant with corporate security policies and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical SAP security knowledge and strong project management skills.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Management:Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP security projects, including new implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business and security requirements.Develop a projectwork plan, collaborate with key business stakeholders to align on userrole assignment,Ensure that SAP security solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.Team Leadership & Collaboration:Manage cross-functional teams, including SAP security consultants, technical teams and business usersAct as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and senior management.Security Oversight & Governance:Ensure all SAP security projects comply with organizational security policies, procedures, and best practices.Oversee the implementation of user roles, authorizations, and access control mechanisms across SAP systems (ECC, S4HANA, Fiori).Stakeholder Management & Reporting:Collaborate with business leaders to understand their security needs and translate them into actionable project requirements.Provide regular project status updates, dashboards, and reports to senior management and key stakeholders.Proactively manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication of impacts.Quality Assurance & Compliance:Ensure rigorous testing of SAP security configurations, including integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and performance testing.Coordinate with internal and external auditors to validate that SAP security controls are compliant with industry regulations.Ensure all documentation related to SAP security, including project plans, security designs, and compliance records, is up-to-date and accessible.manage testing of the changes in QA and communicatecoordinate deployment in ProdQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is a plus.10+ years of experience in SAP security roles, with at least 3-5 years of experience managing SAP security projects.Proven experience managing large-scale SAP security implementations or upgrades across multiple modules (e.g., ECC, S4HANA, Fiori, GRC).Strong understanding of SAP security concepts, including role-based access control (RBAC), authorization objects, and Segregation of Duties (SoD).Proficient in managing security risk assessments and audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as SOX, GDPR, and HIPAA preferred.Experience with cloud-based SAP security solutions is preferred.Project Management Skills:Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage project scope, budgets, timelines, and resources.Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders.Ability to anticipate potential issues, mitigate risks, and drive problem resolution effectively.Preferred Qualifications:SAP certification in Security, GRC, or related areas.Experience in managing SAP security projects in a global, multi-site organization.Our Mission: ITC Infotech is a leading global technology services and solutions provider, led by Business and Technology Consulting.
