MORGNER is seeking qualified candidates for the "Project Manager II) - Terminal Improvement - Baggage Handling System Assistant PM" position with Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA).SynopsisThe Baggage Handling System Assistant PM reports to the Airline Terminal Improvements Delivery Director and is ultimately responsible for managing the scope, schedule and operational interfaces of all design and construction-related activities for TDIP's Baggage Handling System projects. The Baggage Handling System projects include the Baggage Optimization Project - Phase 2 which includes the replacement of the CBISCBRA rooms in TBIT, the Terminal 4 Baggage Handling System project which includes replacement of make-up and distribution systems from ticketing to make-up (excluding CBISCBRA) and the inbound systems, and the Terminal 5 CTX project which includes recapitalization of the T5 CBIS and CBRA.Position Description SummaryThe Baggage Handling System Assistant PM is responsible for managing the scope, cost, schedule and operational interfaces of all design and construction related activities for the Baggage Handling System projects. The Baggage Handling System Assistant PM will be focused on schedule certainty, budget delivery and making sure that construction work meets the required quality standards while enforcing a strong health, safety, and environmental culture on the project.
