With our innovative technology we are looking to change the world of dentistry for dentists and their patients. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support either over the phone or by travelling to customer locations where you will diagnose and repair their existing laser, install new hardware or parts and provide maintenance services as needed. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has the technical skills to get the job done. Client satisfaction is a top priority. This job typically requires 100% travel In this position you matter. This role fills a critical need and contributes significantly toward our company's success. Responsibilities: Perform technical assignments to install, modify, and repair our laser based Dental Systems Troubleshoot and repair of equipment both in-house and at customer sites after analyzing mechanical, electrical and software failures. Disassemble malfunctioning dental devices and use standardized testing procedures; examine and test mechanisms for defects. Replace or repair defective parts; may require modification or replacement components. Reassembles dental devices or equipment and tests assembly for conformance to specifications. Maintain an inventory of materials, including electrical, mechanical, and optical components for in field servicing of customer devices. Inspect devices and test equipment periodically and adjust calibration to ensure functioning within specified standards. Complete in a timely manner, standard equipment documentation and reports necessary for FDA compliance. Provide customers with timely and accurate technical information in a positive and straight forward manner. When needed provide training to dental office staff on the set up and maintenance of the dental laser. Qualifications : High school diploma/GED Previous experience in a Field Service capacity, a minimum of 3 years experience solving problems with computer hardware, software and medical devices preferred Basic knowledge of electro-mechanical systems (lasers and optics valued) ASEE or equivalent technical education Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent customer service skills Able to work independently Physical ability to stand and sit for extended periods and lift and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
