Imaging Service Engineer

Imaging Service Engineer Location: Montclair, NJ (NO TRAVEL REQUIRED!) Shift: M-F, 8AM to 5PM Pay: $108K - $145K annually, based on experience Summary : The Imaging Service Engineer maintains and troubleshoots high-end medical imaging equipment, ensuring proper operation, calibration, and compliance with regulations. The role involves a combination of field support, technical support, and software/application assistance. Responsibilities : Field Support (75%) : Troubleshoot and repair medical imaging equipment. Adhere to preventative maintenance schedules. Maintain customer service and internal records. Resolve issues related to electrical, mechanical, software, and hydraulic systems. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including ISO 13485. Technical Support (10%) : Provide online/phone support for imaging equipment. Communicate with customers for issue resolution and follow-up. Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, hardware, and software. Application Support (5%) : Work with radiologists and medical staff on imaging solutions. Stay updated on trends and issues in the field. Software Support (10%) : Support software for X-ray and Vascular systems. Use DICOM for image management and database administration. Provide training and phone/online support for Windows and Linux systems. Qualifications : 12+ years of experience with high-end imaging equipment. High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Basic computer skills and knowledge of networks. Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed. Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand or walk for long periods.
