Hybrid Position with travel You will be working in the office when needed and travelling to customer locations. The rest of the time you are working from home. Job Details We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical control systems for various types of machinery and equipment. This is a permanent full-time position that offers competitive salary and benefits packages. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement electrical control systems for various types of machinery and equipment Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical control systems issues Develop and maintain PLC programs for machinery and equipment Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical control systems Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize electrical control systems performance Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 2 years of experience in PLC programming and electrical controls engineering Strong knowledge of electrical control systems design and implementation Experience with Web converting is a plus Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram Familiarity with HMI and SCADA systems Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite support and commissioning If you are a self-driven individual who is passionate about electrical controls engineering and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
