Unmanned Systems (UxS) Assistant Program Manager (APM)

Job Description: Qualifications, and Experience of Mid-Level APM providing Professional Services Support desired by PMS 340 client. This position will provide programmatic and administrative support to the Naval Special Warfare Maritime Special Programs UxS commodity area. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Advise the Program Manager (PM) on the safe and legal execution of government funds in support of the respective commodity area. Understand, track, balance, and inform the PM in the areas of cost, schedule, and performance within the commodity area. Identify programmatic risks and execute appropriate risk mitigation measures. Engage with industry partners to understand capabilities as well as current and future technologies in the commodity space. Integrated Product Team (IPT) Coordination: must have the ability to coordinate with numerous subject matter experts in the areas of test and evaluation, engineering, logistics, finance, and engineering to support hardware delivery efforts, ability to decern key output of meetings and how it relates to larger program deliverable efforts. Direct technical activities of projects to ensure both long- and short-range goals are met to the maximum extent possible within manpower and fiscal resources. Ensure the technical adequacy and accuracy of completed assignments, and exercise initiative in resolving problems that arise from ambiguous and conflicting priorities, policies, and regulations. Review results of in-process testing, plan for future test requirements and equipment, and evaluate their adequacy for ensuring quality of hardware / software produced. Conduct critical technical analyses of systems, subsystems, and components to assess these developments against operational requirements. Create new and modify existing presentation documentation using Microsoft Office and other Information Systems Products. Here's what you need: Understanding of USSOCOM and NAVSEA program / project goals, objectives, and processes. Microsoft Office to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project. Prior Navy service with assignments supporting the NSW and DEVGRU enterprise.
