Key Responsibilities: Oversee the installation, commissioning, and layout of automated systems supplied by vendors or OEMs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of automation into the production process Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues to minimize downtime Monitor the performance of installed systems, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards Conduct regular audits of automated systems and recommend improvements Manage relationships with vendors and OEMs to ensure timely delivery and support Provide training and technical support to production teams on the operation of automation systems Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in automation within a manufacturing environment Proven track record of overseeing the installation and layout of automated systems Strong understanding of industrial automation technologies, including PLCs, robotics, and HMI systems Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Experience: Experience working with OEMs and vendors in automation system delivery and setup Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and maintaining automated equipment
