Facility Maintenance Tech I ABOUT THE COMPANY This is a confidential search for an established DTC companyfounded in the mid 1970's.The company has several established brands in the sporting goods industry. The company boasts a strong organizational culture with over 500 employees.The company is expanding to accommodate growth and building a state of the art facility. This is not just another distribution center. The state of the art facility includes several amenities on site for employees to enjoy the products sold by the company. ABOUT THE POSITION The Facility Maintenance Tech I works under the direction of the Sr. Facilities Manager repairing and maintaining facility equipment, blue carts, warehouse and office projects, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, and snow removal as required. Salary Range is $28/hr to $33/hr. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Conduct general and specialized maintenance tasks, such as patching, painting, hardware repairs, and necessary repair or replacement work. Complete restroom repairs involving plumbing. Carry out routine maintenance inspections for facility equipment. Complete minor electrical repairs and installations. Complete HVAC repairs including but not limited to filter changes and minor diagnostics. Fabrication of machine guards, installation or repair or conveyers, replacement of motors, or repair of electro-mechanical equipment. Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly inspections of all areas of the property. Prepare all department documentation such as, but not limited to work logs, equipment checks sheets, preventive maintenance documentation, etc. Complete warehouse and office projects as assigned. Complete landscaping projects as assigned. Complete snow removal as needed. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE One to two years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting. High School diploma or GED required. Basic Electrical knowledge. Ability to read and comprehend schematics and blueprints. Basic welding knowledge. Basic plumbing knowledge. Basic HVAC knowledge. Basic carpentry knowledge. Basic computer knowledge. Ability to safely use power and hand tools. Ability to always work and communicate in a professional manner. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Ability to work overtime as needed.
