Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Rochester, NY Job Type: Part-Time Schedule: B or C shift Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our client's team in Rochester, NY. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is essential to ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of machinery and building infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on machinery, equipment, and building systems. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues. Maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and electrical systems to ensure optimal facility operation. Collaborate with production teams to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, part replacements, and inspections. Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring equipment readiness. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate's degree in a related field is preferred. 3+ years of experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery. Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment: This position involves working in a dynamic manufacturing environment where attention to safety and precision is critical.
