Position: Engineering Manager (Roadmap to Engineering Director) *This is a REMOTE role but preference for someone local to Carmel, IN. Aegis is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join an architectural glass manufacturing team. As a key player in USA operations, you will drive the design and development of our innovative solutions and be part of a team with significant long-term growth potential. This role is suitable for someone with experience and an entrepreneurial spirit with a long and exciting runway to make a great impact, which may very well lead to Engineering Director opportunities. Travel may be required up to 15%, including occasional international trips to Europe, Canada, or South America. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage engineering solutions, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity. Oversee the design, development, and implementation of glass protection systems. Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Integrate our systems seamlessly into commercial construction projects. Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and successful project execution. Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of USA operations. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Engineering Management and Team Leadership. Experience in the manufacturing, glass industry, or faí§ade/building envelope industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Proven experience in Project Management. Experience in Fire-Rated Glass Engineering (Preferred). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. In-depth knowledge of US Building Codes and/or US Glass Codes, with the ability to draft technical documents and guide product introductions. Excellent communication and team-building skills are essential as client-facing dialogue is required daily through online or in-person meetings. Project Management Certification (PMP) is a plus. Experience designing Doors and Windows in Commercial Projects Must be fluent in English. Spanish is considered a plus but not necessary
