Be responsible for all technical subjects all along the circuit protection offer (product) life cycle: Lead Technical Specification and contribute to all System Engineering activities. Study the technical feasibility and define the sizing of the technical efforts (including the technical stories & debts) to achieve sprints and deliverables to business. Define product design choices and manage definition file drive Technical Risk. Lead technical activities according shared team backlog prioritization from the PO Ensure a Robustness & Reliable Design with 3rd party compliance such as UL, CSA, NOM, IEC Support Design For Test/Manufacturing/Assembly Approach; IP, Eco Design design part of the offer. Verify the Product (simulations / Prototypes all along Product life cycle) according to the maturity level Commit to get the product technical Validation according to customer requirements. Support manufacturing & Industrialization (Design For Test/Manufacturing/Assembly; technical antenna included). Support Customer Case & technical expertise, root cause analysis, design of experiments in collaboration with the associated chapter. Required Skills Technical design problem solving Preferred six sigma black belt Preferred background experience in circuit protection devices or similar Critical thinking and thought leader towards accelerated issue resolution Education BS in Mechanical Engineering Preferred MS in Mechanical Engineering Six sigma green belt Preferred Six sigma black belt Schneider Electric will enable relocation from anywhere in the U.S. to the Cedar Rapids, IA area if needed.
