Business System Analyst Telecommunications Client Location: Maryland Heights, MO, hybrid (4 days a week onsite) Contract: Long term contract Pay Rate: $35-$45 /hr. on W2 with benefits, Not open to C2C candidates Overview The BSA II plays a key role in ensuring that various information technology systems are fully operational and meet the needs of both IT and operations teams. This role emphasizes end-to-end Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee the systems perform as required in a live environment. The BSA II will collaborate closely with teams across the organization, including sales agents, backend teams, and technicians, to ensure that systems are tested, issues are identified, and resolutions are found. Success in this role is measured by ensuring that systems are operationally ready and provide a seamless experience for customers. Responsibilities Review, analyze, and evaluate IT systems with a focus on Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) and UAT across multiple systems. Ensure systems are tested thoroughly in production environments to ensure operational readiness. Identify, document, and track system issues or defects during the testing process. Lead and assist in the triage of defects during Test Execution and suggest potential workarounds for issues found. Support a wide range of teams including sales agents, backend agents, DOJ teams, technicians, and self-install portals, ensuring seamless functionality across all systems. Act as the point of contact between IT and operations teams, with IT focusing on QA aspects like interface functionality, and operations concentrating on the final output. Grade systems based on customer experience, ensuring that end users have a positive and smooth interaction with the technology. Requirements 2-5 years of experience in business systems analysis or a related field. Experience with testing in production environments, specifically Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) or User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve system issues during end-to-end processes. Experience collaborating with both IT and operations teams to ensure that systems meet user requirements and function smoothly. Familiarity with defect tracking and test execution processes. Ability to identify possible workarounds for system issues to ensure minimal disruption to operations. Strong communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
