The Maintenance Planner is the person that plans Work Orders and develops job plans to ensure the safe and optimum execution of maintenance jobs. The Maintenance Planner defines what to do and how to do the job. *This is an on-site position* Key Responsibilities: A proficient user of SAP S4/HANA to manage and document notification, work orders, schedules and man hours; principal custodian of the maintenance backlog. Uses Prometheus Planning & Scheduling to develop a more responsive and proactive maintenance strategy. Determines the scope of work and develops detailed plans for the coordination and execution of maintenance tasks (Routine, Turnaround, Preventive and Projects). Prioritizes and schedules work to maximize process up-time and minimize material costs and contract services. Creates/defines schedules and procures resources (manpower, material, equipment, tools, and supervision) for improved resource utilization and equipment reliability. Forecasts and notifies maintenance personnel of upcoming work that requires permits such as Hot Work, Confined Space Entry, Restricted Access Areas, etc Maintains accurate and timely status codes on work orders to facilitate the scheduling process. Reports Schedule Compliance and Accountable KPI's associated with efficiency and effectiveness of work order execution - PM. Monitors on-site inventory of critical spaces and initiates replenishment process as needed. Resources for support and training. Participates in the weekly Maintenance Planning Meetings. Facilitates the weekly maintenance scheduling meetings to publish a listing of inspections due (i.e., incomplete) in the current month. Maintains equipment information and maintenance history. Determines cost of maintenance tasks and obtains approval needed for execution of maintenance work. Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Schedule: Full Time 40 Hour Week Level: Up to level 4 Skill, Capability, and Educational Requirements: High School graduate and four years in plant maintenance and/or production or B.S. in Engineering and two years in plant maintenance and/or production. Four years SAP S4/HANA and Excel computer skills preferred. Two years supervisory experience preferred. Qualifications In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: Proficient use of SAP S4/HANA. Must also be able to learn and use other job specific software. Demonstrated ability to initiate, establish and maintain effective collaborative relationships and communication with plant personnel, customer personnel and Veolia personnel at other locations. Demonstrated ability to work independently and to self-manage. The incumbent must be able to recognize needs, organize the work and execute the work with little or no involvement of others. Demonstrated proficiency utilizing organizational, interpersonal, time management and multi-tasking skills to achieve desired business results. Demonstrated computer skills. Must be proficient in Windows environment and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals and teams of diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated flexibility in dealing with administrative tasks to meet changing needs and to ensure deadlines are met. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality. Effective communicator both written and oral. Demonstrated ability to manage a central file system. Positive attitude, self-directed with demonstrated high level of team building capability.
