Lead Shop Mechanic

We currently have a full-time position available for an experienced Fleet and Small Engine Equipment Service Mechanic. Maintenance Mechanic service technician with at least 5 years experience need only apply. Our fleet includes over 35 trucks and trailers as well as 100 plus pieces of small equipment that require servicing on a scheduled basis and repairs as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: SMALL POWER EQUIPMENT including: Cutoff saws Chainsaws Scag mowers Aerators Briggs and Stratton motors FLEET VEHICLES including: Passenger cars Pickup trucks 1 ton gas and diesel trucks ASSORTED MEDIUM DUTY EQUIPMENT including: Skid Loaders Excavator (12,000 lbs) Vibratory Plow / Trencher Tow behind air compressors OPERATIONS: Servicing and repairing equipment and vehicles Changing tires Welding Shop and yard maintenance Building maintenance Are you a good fit? A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience Ability to diagnose gas and diesel engines Able to troubleshoot electrical problems Strong MIG Welding skills required Lighting body repair and painting Detail-oriented and skilled in record-keeping and documentation. Valid Driver's License Physical fitness to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Not mandatory, but a plus if you: Are bilingual in English and Spanish.
