Position Overview As an Associate with our firm, you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of workers' compensation cases of varying degrees of complexity, including: Handle all aspects of litigation from intake up to settlement or trial. Interact well with our clients for legal consultation or advice, which includes insurance carriers, employers, and third-party administrators. Create litigation plans. Proactively handle files with precision and expertise. Create budget plans, if necessary. Prepare cases for trial and conduct them while maintaining exceptional client interaction. Negotiate or transact any matter for or on behalf of clients. Represent clients at depositions or other discovery matters. Communicate with clarity and professional integrity to convey complex legal matters. Guide non-attorney team members as needed. What we expect you've got Member of the California State Bar in good standing. 1 - 4 years of experience as an attorney in Workers' Compensation Defense. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
