Job purpose: The Janitorial Site Supervisor is the lead project manager for the assigned federal contract locations. The Janitorial Site Supervisor oversees the execution of all janitorial services as outlined in the respective scope of work, leading a team of employees in ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers. Competencies : (6) Ethics/ Integrity: 25% Planning & Organizing: 15% Directing & Controlling: 15% Quality: 15% Interpersonal Skills: 15% Project Management: 15% Duties and Responsibilities: Directly supervise assigned employees and operations at contract site performing general custodial cleaning according to contract specifications and timelines. Receive direct supervision from the Manager of Janitorial Services and/or Director of Facilities Operations. Complete all site-specific tracking to include daily services checklists, inspections, inventory analysis, quality monitoring and employee performance feedback, and other information as assigned. Perform hands on cleaning to include but not be limited to: sweeping, mopping, general cleaning, buffing, carpet cleaning, stripping and waxing. Meet all requirements as outline in scope of work, adhering to timelines and quality standards. Maintain inventory levels and effectively communicate replenishment. Effectively communicate with on-site Contracting Officer Representative(s) and coordination of cleaning/floor projects. Develop corrective and preventative action plans to address any performance issues that arise. Train and develop assigned employees to complete various custodial duties to acceptable quality levels. Qualifications: High School Diploma. 2 years supervisory experience overseeing a team of workers performing janitorial, custodial, environmental facility maintenance, or related experience required. 2 years multi-site facilities management experience preferred Federal contracting experience preferred. CIMS certification or Lead Building experience preferred. Valid Driver's License. Must be able to pass a comprehensive federal and state background check. May be required to pass a Dept. of Defense Federal Clearance Check, depending upon assignment. You are required to be in possession of a car on site during your entire shift to transport yourself and/or work crew to sites in all weather conditions and throughout all neighborhoods. Depending upon assignment, must be able to work in a variety of settings, weather conditions and locations. Work a flexible schedule that may include additional hours, early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays. Physical Requirements: Distribute and utilize equipment and work materials, which frequently include lifting, carrying, pushing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and climbing. Move and lift weights up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis. Work independently, utilize good judgment, and possess a strong sense of initiative. Communicate clearly in oral and written form on a constant basis. Operate maintenance equipment including carpet shampooer and buffing machine. Shift hours 10:30am-2pm Monday-Friday 22.5
