The Bioprocess Specialist for Cytiva is responsible for providing solutions to manufacturing challenges to win specification of Cytiva technologies into customers' early-stage drug development processes. This position is part of the Mid-Atlantic Zone, covering the following locations (MD, PA, VA and OH) and will be fully remote. What you will do: Engage in technical consultations with customers, coordinate and perform bench scale tests to evaluate and/or demonstrate Cytiva technologies for specification in customer processes and provide support with scale up testing and implementation. Coordinate and perform bench scale tests to evaluate and/or demonstrate Cytiva technologies for specification in customer processes. Generate vital technical reports for internal and customer use. Work in close relationship with the Process Development Support Manager, Filtration Specialists and other technology specialists to coordinate activities and improve results. Increase sales by serving as Cytiva specialist in coordinated Biotech processes to increase the number of applications. Who you are: Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, chemical or Biological, or Engineering or related field required. MSc or PhD preferred. 2 plus years of relevant experience, preferably in Biotech industry. Knowledge of unit operations and practices relevant to Biotech customers and Downstream Processes preferred. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Current valid driver's license. Willing to travel regionally (approximately 50%) with occasional travel outside assigned territory. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Training in downstream processes for biological products (antibodies, vaccines, proteins, viral vectors etc.) At Cytiva we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce. The salary range for this role is $85,000 -$110,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
