Electrical Project Manager

Description & Requirements We are looking for a seasoned electrical or power engineer to provide expert engineering advice and guidance to the US Government to ensure electrical and power systems within US secure facilities meet applicable requirements. This position involves working with project managers, facility managers, senior executives, and tradespeople to evaluate designs for both electrical and security compliance, as well as formulate/research policies. A successful candidate will have experience working with secure power and knowledge of isolation practices. This role is located in Warrenton, VA. Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS179, P5, Band 8 Key Responsibilities: * Manage power related projects for secure USG facilities. These projects may be new or renovations. * Review construction blueprints and designs of USG facilities for compliance with NEC, Federal, State, and local laws and requirements. * Respond to requests for information on potential technical security vulnerabilities with respect to electrical power systems and red/black isolation. * Leverage your engineering expertise to provide input to draft policies, best practices, and studies as needed. Minimum Requirements: * Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly. * B.S. Electrical Engineering or related engineering field. * Alternatively certified electrician with 10 years of experience installing/designing/maintaining power systems for Intelligence Community facilities. * Thorough knowledge of National Electric Code and application in secure facilities.
