Job Summary This position is a direct report to the Director IT Project Services. Supports the management of the vendor portfolio consisting of multimillion-dollar contracts, including contract inventory maintenance, contract interpretation, contract development, negotiations, changes, modifications, renewals, vendor management, and enforcement of performance clauses. Performs analysis and provides recommendations to support the efficiency of future RFP planning and RFP processes. Supports manager in working with key stakeholders to ensure that their vendor requirements are met. Establishes and maintains tracking systems and related records. This position looks to the future strategy and development of best practices to coordinate with and prepare the business for potential improvements and related savings. May provide guidance and direction to one or support team members. Job Responsibilities o Handles contracts within IT vendor portfolio, including: contract recordkeeping, maintenance, changes, modifications, renewals, etc. o Provides documentation and information to support enforcement of performance clauses. o Assists in the dispute management process, reviews consumption data, validates and approves invoices, reports on costs as requested. o Updates and maintains detailed contract records and invoice tracking spreadsheets. o Serves as coordinator for vendor contract enforcement, ensuring that inquiries and escalations are recorded, reported, addressed, and closed in a timely manner. o Provides information and reports to support RFP planning and on-demand tasks, including departmental savings initiatives, audits or data requests. o Assists in on-boarding new services / contracts following internal best practices. o Performs complex analysis and delivers year-over-year cost avoidance and cost reduction opportunities through contract management process (invoice validations). o Supports contract development process as needed. Job Specific Qualifications Required Qualifications: o BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance or related field o 7 or more years of work experience, preferably in a vendor management environment supporting major vendor technology contracts o Demonstrated experience with financial management (e.g., SAP, Ariba, etc.) systems o Experience with account reconciliations and/or accounting functions o Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and other PC and accounting-related software and systems o Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills o Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders o Must demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills o Must be detail oriented and exercise sound judgment o Must demonstrate strong business acumen, critical thinking and presentation skills o Must demonstrate expert Excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, graphs, etc.) o Must demonstrate a strong understanding of general accounting practices and the ability to present financial information in a clear manner to all audiences, including those with non-financial backgrounds o Must demonstrate strong leadership skills o Ability to work independently on technical issues and utilize a broad knowledge of business analysis, acquired through progressive experience o Strategic thinker, proactive, and assertive, willing to challenge the status-quo (natural curiosity) o Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous priorities and ongoing issues Minimum Years of Experience Education Bachelors Certifications None Noted Disclaimer Certain positions at the Company may require you to have access to Part 810-Controlled Information.
