We are hiring Sr. Eggplant Automation Engineer for Pittsburgh, PA / Dallas, TX. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in Eggplant functional testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating automated tests to support our development processes and ensure high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Eggplant testing tools. Collaborate with the development team to understand the requirements and functionality of the application. Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test processes, ensuring alignment with software development processes. Execute automated tests and analyze results to report to the development team. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate automation scripts with the CI/CD pipeline. Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution. Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders to ensure software functionality and quality. Keep up to date with the latest testing tools, strategies, and trends, specifically those related to Eggplant testing. Configure and maintain test environments, including necessary data setup and hardware. Participate in code reviews to ensure that automation code standards and best practices are being followed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in Eggplant Functional and Eggplant Manager tools. Strong scripting skills and experience with SenseTalk, or similar scripting languages. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices. Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development process. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
