Senior Strategic Sourcing Consultant (Commercial)

Responsibilities Develop and implement global procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives, focusing on supply chain efficiency and cost reduction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to identify procurement needs and ensure alignment with project timelines. Manage supplier selection, negotiation, and performance evaluation to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of materials and services. Analyze market trends and supplier landscapes to identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings. Lead risk management initiatives to mitigate supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity. Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement. Monitor and report on procurement metrics and KPIs to assess performance and drive strategic decision-making. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and best practices. Assignment Family Group: Commercial Maximizes value for money. Leverages external capabilities, optimizes and protects the supply chain and ensures responsible and continuous supply of materials, services and finished goods. Assignment Family: Strategic Sourcing Responsible for delivering long-term competitive advantages to achieve maximum value for money for direct and indirect buying. Create and implement robust sourcing strategies which include aspects related to price risk management, long term supply assurance, material quality, and responsible sourcing. Engages and collaborates with key business stakeholders. Qualifications: Strong experience in Strategic Sourcing/ Indirect Procurement. Tech procurement. Supply chain & R&D is a bonus. Experience managing supplier selection, negotiation, and performance evaluation to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of materials and services. Experience within the food industry highly preferred. Technology Procurement with large scale Vendors. Excel analysis. Story telling & presentations. Ability to communicate & influence from factory floor through to C-Level Execs. Industry Experience (software / websites)- Must have and good to have.: Ariba, Sievo, Hicx, Microsoft Office 365. Working with executives. Working with global requirements. Working with Vendors such as Blue Yonder, Siemens, Waites, Client, E2Open, Tryon, Tata, Automation Anywhere.
