The Base Oil Sales Manager is responsible for managing the growth of the account portfolio in their assigned division or location. Duties may include management of the sales team, including hiring, training, and coaching for sales quota attainment. Maintaining a working knowledge of product, product architecture, development tools, and common customer operating environments. Accountable for meeting sales targets. Participant in the development of key account relationships. Implements organization's sales directives and effectively tailoring strategies to local marketplace. Why work for Safety-Kleen? Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenues objectives. Establish extensive knowledge of competitive pricing, market rates to ensure an acceptable win rate at acceptable margins Maintain daily awareness of direct report sales activities and results. Complete joint sales calls with LOBS, KAMs and Ams at key accounts to help grow business and provide coaching and feedback. Conduct performance evaluations of key performance indicators and statistics to monitor progress in attaining goals Work with LOB sales in developing business plans and priorities for targeting new cross sell opportunities Complete quarterly customer reviews for account development and activity with direct reports Negotiate pricing and contact requirements at key accounts with support of appropriate VP as needed Collaborate with operational personnel to evaluate all potential approaches for new opportunities Bachelor's degree preferred Alternative combinations of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree 5 to 7 years business to business sales experience Strong negotiation skills Ability to drive decision-making Time and territory management skills to ensure focus on value-added sales activities Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Travel 25% to 50% Safety-Kleen Systems, a Clean Harbors Co., has a commitment to excellence deeply rooted in a strong sense of tradition.
