Lead Automation Engineer

Job Summary The Lead Automation Engineer will lead the development and execution of automated testing frameworks, focusing on Selenium and core Java. The role involves working with various automation tools and frameworks to ensure efficient test automation processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in API and database testing and will lead automation initiatives to ensure high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium and core Java. • Lead automation testing efforts and ensure high coverage for automated test cases. • Work with tools like TestNG, Cucumber, Maven, Jenkins, and GIT for automation and CI/CD pipelines. • Conduct API and database testing to ensure the accuracy and performance of backend systems. • Collaborate with development and QA teams to create and execute automation test scripts. • Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions for failed tests. • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and deployment. • Provide leadership and technical guidance to junior team members in automation best practices. • Maintain documentation for automation frameworks, test cases, and processes. Required Qualifications • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Selenium and core Java. • Expertise in Java programming with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in automation tools such as TestNG, Cucumber, and Maven. • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GIT for automation pipelines. • Strong experience in API and database testing. • Knowledge of automation frameworks and their implementation. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in Agile environments. • Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments. Education: Bachelors Degree
