The Junior FP&A Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our financial planning, budgeting, and analysis operations. This entry-level position is designed for an ambitious individual eager to develop their career in finance within the tech industry. The successful candidate will assist in analyzing financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing actionable insights to inform business decisions. What you'll be doing: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, helping to develop detailed models under the guidance of senior team members. Conduct variance analysis to compare budgeted/forecasted results against actual results, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements. Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and insights, contributing to cross-functional understanding and decision-making. Participate in the development of financial models to evaluate business opportunities, investment decisions, and cost-saving initiatives. Help maintain financial databases, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial information. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and the implementation of best practices in financial analysis. Engage in ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as required by the finance leadership team. What you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Up to 1 year of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a related field. Internship experience in finance or accounting is highly valued. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial modeling techniques. Basic understanding of financial statements and financial analysis concepts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Eager to learn, with a proactive attitude and a drive for continuous improvement. Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Tharseo IT's benefit programs. Salary for roles at Tharseo IT varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set and level of experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $64,000 to $88,000 (hourly USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Tharseo IT's total compensation package for employees.
