POSITION SUMMARY: The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by providing insightful financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. The role will report directly to the CFO and requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate financial insights to key stakeholders. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes. Own the Adaptive Insights (WorkDay) forecasting tool. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and communicate results clearly for management, highlighting key findings and variance analysis. Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to identify areas of opportunity and risk. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand financial needs and outcomes. Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required by management. Collaborate with accounting team to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Identify areas for process improvements within the FP&A function. Additional responsibilities and duties as required. CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS & WHY YOU'RE A GREAT FIT FOR THE ROLE: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis in an FP&A or corporate finance role. Strong skills in BI reporting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Adaptive Insights, and BI applications. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Must be able to communicate with others to exchange information. This job operates in a professional office environment.
